The Heart Behind It

Love is a choice. These letters help you choose well.

From Brian & Tishia
What Kept Us Together

It wasn't one moment or one decision, but thousands of them. Through hard seasons, faith became the thread and anchor that reminded us this covenant was bigger than our feelings on any given Tuesday. We learned we couldn't carry marriage alone; inviting God into the good, messy, and uncomfortable seasons changed us steadily - toward more intention, honesty, growth, and choosing one another every day.

Why We're Here

We are not marriage counselors or therapists, and Sealed for Two is not therapy. We're mentors who have walked through beautiful and difficult seasons, who are still learning and growing, and writing from lived experience. With intention, honesty, community, and faith, we believe marriages can be more than couples imagined. Sealed for Two is a monthly pause to protect what you have, sustain the intention behind it, and keep choosing each other.

A NOTE FROM TISHIA

"Love is a decision, not just a feeling."

When I think about the 19-year-old girl who walked down the aisle with her whole heart, I want to tell her that hard seasons don't mean she made the wrong choice. They mean she's in a marriage that's real. The woman she's becoming through this marriage is worth every difficult chapter. Keep choosing him. Keep showing up. It's worth it.

The story behind the letters.

We believe a marriage doesn't fall apart in one big moment - it drifts quietly, in the ordinary weeks nobody's paying close attention to.

Sealed for Two was created to interrupt that drift, one month at a time. Each mailing gives a husband and wife something to hold onto: real words written directly to each of you, and a gentle way to reconnect even when life feels busy or distant.

"We're not here to add another thing to your to-do list."

We're here to make choosing each other on purpose a little easier — whether things are hard right now, simply comfortable, or getting better every day- and with more intention.

Behind these letters are Brian and Tishia Wilson, married 29 years, who have spent years walking alongside couples who desire healthy marriages.

A NOTE FROM BRIAN

"I'm still growing. We both are."

Twenty-nine years ago, I married my best friend. I didn't have all the answers then, and I won't pretend to have them all now. What I do have is the lived experience of a marriage tested, stretched, and deepened by everything life has brought our way. Being a husband is one of the greatest callings a man can have - and one that requires growth. That's exactly the point.
